Solidarité Fwontalye/Service Jésuite aux Réfugiés was born in 1999 in Ouanaminthe: Migration et droits humains, Gestion Risques de désastre et Résilience Locale.
Jesuit Refugee Service was born in 1999 in Ouanaminthe working in the areas of migration and human rights, disaster risk management, and domestic renewal.
In 2010, it opened offices in Port-au-Prince and began to participate in the international Jesuit network created by Fr. Arrupe to attend to the needs of refugees. It acquires the name of SJM/SW-Haiti.
This year it celebrates its 23 years of service!
